Blue Glitter ✨

Using only glitter acrylic this look has been a firm favourite with friends & family & looks lovely in this sun we are having here in the uk ! 

Can't wait for winter though ! 

Ombré Glitter Nails

I love the finished result of these nails ! Ombré is a pretty easy look to achieve 

You can choose colors that compliment or go bold and pick two that clash. Experiment with different combinations and see what works.

Your best bet is to get a  big bathroom sponge and just cut sections off when You need them. The sections don't have to be perfectly cut, as long as one side is flat it will work. You can use absolutely any sponge - a makeup sponge, washing up sponge or any other kind of sponge you can find. I just blended the edges with the polish brush - just wipe any excess polish if it first.

Using the first  of your colors, paint your nails and wait for it to dry completely.

Starting at the tip of the nail, apply the polish using less as you get further down the nail 

Apply a top coat & your done ! 

Girly Pink Polka Dot Nail Art

For this you'll need - two different shades of pink polish, white polish, black polish, top coat, dotting tool & studs.

I feel this is pretty self explanatory so no need to give instructions.

Negative Space Nail Art

I'm loving the negative space look with nails at the moment, it stands out so much & people always take a double take. I've had loads of compliments if these nails & loads of requests to recreate them on people too ! 

Simply pop your striping tape across the centre of your nail, paint over with re colour of your choice, take the tape off & finish with a top coat ;)

Aztec Nail Art With Studs

Excuse the terrible quality of this photo, was taken on my phone, at night :/ any way for this look I painted every nail in  this turquoise shade, for the two Aztec nails I painted half white then with a black nail art pen simply drew zig zags over the white half & finished with a stud in the centre using my brush in glue by Nailene I stuck the gold studs on the remaining nails & finished with a coat of Seche Vite Top Coat.

I personally love these nails although I know there a bit ott what do you think ?  

Matte Black Nails With Gold Studs

This look is literally 3 steps

1.paint nails with black polish 

2.glue on studs (I use Nailene brush on glue)

3.apply matte top coat

Blue, White & Gold Nail Art

So I dug out my striping tape & thought I'd give it a go again, everyone into nail art needs to buy this stuff, it's literally pennies from EBay ! 

So I painted 3 fingers white & 2 blue, then using my striping tape I applied it to the white nails in a square pattern. Now my initial plan was to paint over in gold then peel away the tape & have the white pattern underneath, however when I applied it to each nail I much preferred the gold stripes so neatly cut away the excess & finished with a top coat. I then popped some gold studs on the he nails with a bit of Nailene glue.

Went over everything with Seche Vite & here's the finished look

Nude matte Nails

A quick post with my current nails

Simple yet effective, matte nude/ dusty pink. Using China Glaze Magic Matte top coat.

I would definatly recommend this polish & it quickly & easily transforms any polish matte ! 

I bought a mini bottle for around £5 including p&p off eBay :)

Which matte top coat do you recommend ?

Ghetto Fabulous Nail Art

Went a bit crazy with this look, using all China Glaze. I wanted something to stand out for a friends birthday party. My outfit was all black so neon orange was a great contrast to that, I had a lot of complements for these nails, especially the ring finger for some reason haha. 

These are done on acrylics using millennium products & the nail studs were bought from eBay for pennies ;) 

Ying Yang Monochrome Nail Art

All you'll need for this look is a black & a white nail polish, I'm using China Glaze.

Paint about 2 3rds of your nail white, wait to dry then starting from the bottom of you draw an S shape to the top, fill in that half of the nail then simply dab a dot of polish on each side in contrasting colours & your good to go ! 

Half Moon / Upside Down Mani Tutorial

If you love a simple look in your nails but are sick of the traditional French Manicure this look is perfect for you ! So easy yet so effective ! 

Step 1 - Apply 2 coats of your chosen polish - I used China Glaze Dandy Lyin' Around 

Step 2 - once that's completely dry apply  a tip guide to the bottom of your nail leaving about 1/2 a centimetre gap 

Step 3 - Fill in the gap with your 2nd polish I used China Glaze Cleopatra 

Step 4 - once completely dry peel back the guides & finish with a clear top coat, I used the Patent Leather top coat by China Glaze 

Monochrome Polka Dot Nails

Simple monochrome polka dot nails ! 

This is perfect if your in a rush, paint 4 nails white leaving your chosen accent nail bare, then paint it black, I used dotting tools but you can use a nail art pen, a pencil or even your nail varnish brush if your precise, go over the white with small dots & finish with a clear top coat, I used Seche Vite ! 

Snowflake Nail Art

Winter snow flake nail art, so easy and this was the first time I tried it ! 

Paint 4 nails one colour - I chose a red China Glaze, then paint the 5th nail another colour, I chose white by China Glaze. I used nail art brushes for the snowflake design, literally just draw three lines coming out if the corner of the nail, then draw small little lines coming out of them. Then fill in the gaps with little dots.

I finished with a Seche Vite top coat !

Holographic Gel Nails

I'm obsessed with gel nail extensions at the moment, not the best thing for your nails as they are a little damaging but if taken off properly & not applied too long they should be ok ! 

I bough this polish on eBay a couple of weeks ago it's by Headline Colours & was £10. I have to say I'm in love with it, it shines amazingly in the light & catches everyone's attention - even men's (who notice nothing when it comes to nails )

For an alternative nail shape example, painted my friends nails aswell :)

Glitter Ombré Leopard Print Nail Art

These are my first set of uv gel nails since qualifying last week, I trained in all aspects of Nail care but uv gel nails have to be my fave ! 

With these I painted the whole nail white, then the bottom semi circle dark blue, then the middle with the blue glitter & went over with the leopard design.

I loved these & they sparkled so much in real life pity it didn't show up too much in the picture :(

Tartan Take 2 ||Nail Art

I've attempted tartan nails art before & I'll be honest, it's a tricky one ! I'd say this attempt is better than my first, just need to perfect those damn straight lines !

It's literally your base coat- I chose a plain red from George @ Asda ( surprisingly good )

Painted two vertical line & four horizontal lines with a black nail art pen

Then a white cross- slightly off centre in white

Then finished with a top coat :)

Pastel Nail Art With Leopard Underside

So I've seen and done the "Loubiton" nails & though I'd mix it up by painting a leopard pattern on the underneath of my nails.

This only really works with false nails as the underneath needs painting before being applied.

Really easy though just paint the underneath of your flase nail about 2 3rds down with your desired colour/pattern apply your false nail then paint as usual :)

Eyeballs & Bones || Halloween Nail Art & Make Up

I sported these bad boys at my 2nd Halloween party this year - my intention was to go as Edward Scissor hands but as Royal Mail screwed my delivery up my costume never arrived so last minute I decided to be Lady Gaga from the born this way video.

These nails have no relevance to lady Gaga but I think there great & gory !
