Water Marble Nails
I've seen this a couple of times on Instagram now & wondered how the hell they did it, so I searched it on google & it came up with like a million tutorials & it's surprisingly easy, although very messy !
I won't do a tutorial on here because there is some amazing ones on YouTube if you type in water marble nail art, but you basically need a cup of water - room temperature, a couple of nail polishes, the higher pigment the better, some tape & some sort of stick (I just used a cocktail umbrella stick ). Then you dip your first colour of polish into the water & it should spread out then repeat with your second colour & again with the first about ten times, with your stick bring the outside of the polish into the centre & try to be as quick as you can as it drys really quick on the water, now dip your finger in tip first (remember to tape around the edges of the nail ) pull any polish left on the water away with your stick then remove your finger :) it does take a while as you have to repeat this for every finger but the amount of compliments I've had on these make it well worth it ! Does anyone know of another ways of doing the marble look ? Or any one else have any pictures of your own ? I'd love to see :)

My New Favourite Lipstick !
I love lipstick so much I think it can completely change your face & give so much more impact to your make up, I usually stick to really girly shades like coral or a bright pink & very occasionally a bright red lip. In this months Glossybox however I received a Hellen E lipstick & as soon as I saw the colour I thought I'll never use that ! I gave it a go though & fell in love instantly the shade is called Raspberry & it retails for £8 from www.hellen-e.com, I haven't heard much about this brand I only have a couple of items from previous Glossyboxes but so far love them all.
It's more of a burgundy plum shade rather than raspberry & has a slight hint of brown in as well, it's really moisturising & quite pigmented so you only need a small amount, it won't last ages although it is called "long lasting" but I find most lipsticks aren't. Overall though I think this colour suits me a lot & I'm always looking to change my make up look & this has helped hugely :)
Has anyone else used this brand before ? Let me know if you recommend anything else :) xx

10 Facts about your nails
Here I've compiled a list of 10 facts about our nails, some are obvious, some are weird & hopefully some will help you :)
*Nails are actually the same as hair. Both hair and nails are made of the same protein, called keratin.
*The nail plates are dead cells and contrary to the popular belief, they don't breathe. So they don't require oxygen. However, the nail beds and the cuticles are live cells and they do need oxygen, vitamins and minerals.
*Nails grow at different speeds on both hands. If you are right-handed, the nails on your right hand will grow faster than the nails on your left hand and vice versa.
*The fastest growing nail is on the middle finger. The slowest – on the thumbnail.
*Nails grow at the rate of 0.1 mm daily (or 1 cm in every 100 days). So, for a finger nail to regrow completely, it takes between 4 and 6 months. For toe nails, the period of complete regrow is 12 to 18 months.
*Dry nails can be improved by increasing your water intake.
*Nails grow faster in warm sunny climates than in cold dark places. If you must bite your nails, move to Southern California :)
*The light coloured crescent moon part of your nail is called the lunula. It's where nail cells are formed, and usually it'll be biggest on your thumb, and smallest on the little finger.
*Your nails look pink because they're see-through! As your nail grows from the base, the older cells (nearer the tip) are flattened and turn translucent, which is why your nail tends to be whiter at the base. The pink colour comes from the blood in the skin under your nail.
*The idea of colouring nails for cosmetic reasons has been around for about 5000 years! The first colours popularly used were (as you might've guessed) various shades of red.

Enchanted Rosé by Ciate
I got this in my Ciate Advent calendar a couple of weeks ago & the colour looked amazing its a deep red glittery polish & looks so shiny, unfortunately the colour is very weak on the nails @ the glitter is very sparse so I had to do a base coat of red polish on before it to get depth, it's also quite dull on its own so I had to put a couple of coats of clear polish on top as well to get the shine. Overall it's an amazing colour, just not on its own.
